Hey all! I'm Leigh and I'm the new communications coordinator and I work with Nonprofit University! I'm serving here for a year through Americorps Vista.
I can frequently be found in my office listening to awesome music, updating our facebook pages, working on the NU community page, sending you a bunch emails that you hopefully read!, and registering people for all of our wonderful classes and certificate programs.
I am a semi-recent grad, graduated in 2008, from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA. I was a Spanish and Women's Studies double major. I also studied abroad in Chile in spring 07 and hung out and took classes in Santiago at Universidad de Chile y PUC.
In my spare time I like to travel (when I have money!), swing dance, salsa dance, take beautiful pictures, work on my scrapbook, write short stories, and hang out at coffee shops. I also try to get out into different communities and do volunteer work. When I was in school I did many Habitat for Humanity builds and since college have been active with JFSJ in their service trips and day projets.
